It is a great privilege to be the MSP for Strathkelvin and Bearsden, I've lived in Kirkintilloch, in the heart of the constituency for 24 years. The area is recognised as one of the best places in Scotland to live, work and do business.
Rich in both history and culture there are Roman remains spread throughout the area including remnants of the Antonine Wall that go back to 143 AD as well as several modern leisure centres and theatres.
I am a member of the Labour party because I believe that the country's wealth should be in the hands of the many and not the few. I am a strong believer in social justice and equality for all.
